We have developed MAP trays to achieve a prolonged shelf life for fresh food products. Made out of polypropylene they have a multi-purpose use and offer a modern alternative to polystyrene trays.
MAP stands for ‘Modified Atmosphere Packaging': The ambient air in the tray is replaced by a modified gas mixture so it is especially useful for a diverse range of food products such as meat, fish and poultry.
This new gas prolongs the shelf life and the product keeps its natural colour and its original condition for a much longer time. MAP trays achieve all these qualities without any added preservatives. |
